Just fitted our new doors and we need to do the pelmet and cornice, the cornice looks straight forward with screwing from the top in to the cupboard.
But how do you add the pelmet? as there is nothing really you can screw into to.
any help would be great

This gives you a "how to fit a kitchen in 3 mins" guide. The cornice fitting is about 2:39 through! Basically you screw it down into the top of the wall units and glue the corners.

You need those fixings used for attaching shelves to the insides of cabinets.0

Here you go:

You put 2 screws into the reverse side of the pelmet and then 1 screw through the single hole into the bottom of the cabinet.0 -
Ours are fitted using small L-shaped brackets. The corner joints are pulled together using the same brackets.0

Hiya Mr Kennedy
If your pelmet can't be screwed into the cabinet base, then use connector block as previous poster has recommended. I'd advise having a decent sliding mitre saw to cut your angles & buy a pack of mitre glue for glueing the mitres together to give a professional finish.
JocksterNothing is easy........'til you find out how!0
