    Hello moongarden

It's been a few years since I had the yellow fever vaccination. My gp couldn't give it to me, I had to go to a yellow fever clinic. I was issed with a yellow fever vaccination certificate, which was a mandatory document for my holiday trip.

I'm not sure if things have changed and yellow fever vaccination is now available from lots more centres.

As for the cheapest, I doubt that you would save any money by trying to shop around.

    ok, thanks Nile.
i managed to get my anti malarials for free - after having gone to my gp for a recommendation of course.
then i just asked around and two family friends gave me the ones they had leftover - they are the right ones and still well in date so that saved me £60.

Why should they be free for people on benefits? If they can afford tropical holidays, then they can afford the jabs too. For goodness sake, is there no limit to the money this 'government' can give away?

Anyone finding this thread through google may be interested to know that Superdrug charge £47 for yellow fever jab (in stores with travel clinics). You can also use the current 'till spit' 10% discount voucher (just keep a superdrug receipt and do a quick survey online http://www.superdrugfeedback.com/Projects/SUP_CSI/Index.aspx ), making it £42.30.
