Hi not sure what your budget is like but I have been to London a few times and I always stay at the Hilton on Edgeware Road. Last time we went we stayed for 2 nights and got Dinner on the first night and breakfast in the mornings. I am sure it was £99 per night per room So it was £198 for the stay. The hotel has a pool and is beside edgware tube station and only a 5 min walk to padington train station. I thought that price was very good as we had priced up the travellodge the first time we were going but by the time we added on the cost of our breakfast and dinners it didn't work out that much cheaper and I loved using the pool and sitting in the bar watching the world go by.February 2013 NSD - 40

We booked Travelodge in Southwark for April 09 (weekend dates) for £54 per room per night. Quite central for stuff too. OK Travelodges arent luxury but the rooms are huge and very clean.OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0

Holiday Inn have a winter sale - there are good rates for some hotels and they include brekkie. Hoxton is a bit of luxury at varied rates. There are still some Travelodge deals mid Jan;) - leaves you more dosh to for treats:D Or you could try your luck on Priceline - there are some successful reports on here, but read up first.0

You could also check out a few of the multi-hotel search sites. There are some pretty good smaller hotels that offer great rates and are often offer better service etc. Some nice huge houses turned into hotels etc! Quite a few on http://search.hotelroundup.co.uk/City/London.htm, sort by price/ratings etc.
The Hoxton is lovely though if you manage to get a deal :-)0 -
I've been looking at the hoxton and its seem great to no deals for that weekend!sieze the carp0

Try superbreaks they have some good deals on especially if you fancy a show as well, the tickets are included in the price. You can book at thomas cook for the same price as if you ring superbreaks direct and the travel agent will do all the searching for you.0
