There is a site somewhere devoted to the subject of digi boxes and digital TV and it is where I read about one called Echostar. I bought it from Woolworths £20odd. It has been good. The one I got from Asda (they have a god selection) for one of the bedrooms is a bit flaky but is still going well. It was less than £20. Can't remember the name and it's downstairs (I don't do stair very well). Will post the name tomorrow if you don't get a loads of replies.0

Humax seem to be very well regarded, however they're a bit more expensive than most. The cheapest I can find one for is £48.50 from John Lewis:
