Azores

We'd always fancied going to the Azores but were put off by the cost, particularly of the flights. If you've been - have you any tips for us?
Then I came across a 2 for 1 offer on this site: http://azores-holidays.sunvil.co.uk & we've now booked ourselves in for 1 week from 10th Jan., staying B&B in a 4-star hotel, flights from Manchester (also Gatwick available), & transfers.
At £201pp it has cost quite a lot less than the price of either the flights alone, or the hotel alone - cheapest I could find the flights was about £250pp, & cheapest quote for the hotel was around £500 in total for the 2 of us.
I know it won't be at its warmest then, but should be pleasant for sightseeing etc. Certainly better than here, & something to look forward to after New Year.
There were other deals available too, including Feb. half-term at good prices.
Any info. which would be helpful to us would be much appreciated.

its a very new destination to the package holiday market, I have not sold any holidays or spoke to anyone who has been, however it does look lovely.
So I take it your everything booked now, ie flights and accomodation?
Thanks

I also saw this advertised at the weekend. Going to do a bit of research on it. Husband likes fishing and I like to relax. You will have to let us know what its like when you get back. It looks great0
