Hi,
Can anyone please advise me whether it is o.k to freeze Toad in the Hole?
My lot would usually get through 2 huge roasting tins of Toad in the Hole and as an experiment, I decided to try making some bun tin sized ones instead, using just 1/3 of a sausage in each. This worked so well that I ended up with 6 very full bellies and 23 mini Toads left. I did manage to encourage kids to munch on them the next day so as not to waste any, but would love to be able to freeze them in future.
Also, can you freeze home made quiche?

Yes you can freeze quiche. I would have thought you could freeze your mini toads too:) After all, Aunt Bessie manages to freeze her mini yorkies and you can freeze sausages so I would be tempted to give it a go.0

The mini toads will freeze perfectly, the quiche will freeze better if there is some cream in the custard mixture, maybe half cream half milk. It turns out a little better if you either serve it hot or heated then chilled otherwise it might be a bit damp.0

Hi
First message - here goes...
If you freeze mini toad in the holes or quiche, how do you re-heat AND do you de-frost first?!
Thanks - hoping to start saving left over food!

I know i would reheat the yorkshire pud straight from frozen, but must admit im not sure about the sausages, i think i would prob let it all defrost before reheating.
