Advice needed Qatar Airways

Hello everyone.
Was wondering if anyone could advise me on a problem I have had with Qatar Airways.
I travelled to Dubai with them early October, but upon arrival at the airport was unable to check in as one of my party were not booked onto the aircraft.
After a while it was resolved, basicaly the issue was that they had cancelled one of my party, 2 travellers had the same name so they just assumed this was a duplicate booking and went ahead and cancelled it, after a lot of stress and arguing, they at one point told me I had only paid for 2 passengers and not 3 we all left as planned but I had booked the airport lounge at a cost of £75 for the 3 of us, we were not able to use this due to the time it took to sort out.
I asked if we were going to have the same problems coming back and was told no, it had been sorted out.
I decided to call in Dubai anyway just to check and was told that only 2 members of my party were booked onto the aircraft, I tried to explain on the phone but was told I would have to come to the office. After a nightmare journey there, more arguments but eventually I was given a new ticket, but with the travel involved there it basically took up the whole day of an already short break.
This completely ruined 2 days of my holiday so I complained when I got home and after 5 weeks recieved a letter apologising for the error but it stated that they were pleased I was reinstated on the aircraft, no mention of compensation for my problems.
I again emailed stating my displeasure and got a reply offering me as "a goodwill gesture" a £75 discount on one of their flights valid for a year.
I certainly do not intend to use Qatar Airways again and am amazed the fact that 2 people with the same name can cause such a problem.
I believe my troubles should be worth more than a £75 discount but am unsure as who to speak to about this problem.
I booked with my credit card, should I contact them?
Appreciate any help or advice.
Steve

Cannot comment on your problem, but found them enjoyable when i flew to Sri Lanka last Nov.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.I did find it odd that you could get a alcoholic drink on the plane, but not at Doha airport.0

I would totally agree..... Thus you need to escalate your complaint. See below link.I believe my troubles should be worth more than a £75 discount but am unsure as who to speak to about this problem.
