Lloyds TSB and hardship cases

Hi To all can anyone help my quiery?

I have followed all the letters, re wote and I have even pleaded hardship as i have and IVA, but still nothing, called them this morning and just got told due to the re claiming put on hold there is nothing they can do about the charges untill they have been declaired un lawful. The bank havent even assessed my situation or looked at why i am struggling. has anyone got anyfurther that this in the last month with TSB????

Write once more and quote the FSA Waiver on Bank Charges(its on my signature) and look at Annex 2 of it. Write specifically to them quoting which aspects of the waiver you come under. If they then decline it, then you go to the FOS,

  • I have more or less had exactly the same problem. I have now gone down the FOS route and Lloyds are basically wasting time by lying to the FOS stating they have wrote out asking for proof of hardship. They have all the proof as it is, they are the ones holding my bank account!

You should contact the FOS, but beware its a long route and Lloyds are a bunch of users

Same here - no luck whatsoever. Typical TSB - I banked with them for over 20 years but told them where they could stick there account this year. I had both personal & business accounts with them. They caused me many problems and I have an ongoing complaint that dates back to Nov 2007 that the Financial Ombudsman is dealing with (and agrees I have been treated unfairly)- sorry had to have a rant when TSB is mentioned !!!

tsb r pains in backside, they keep telling me yes no need to do anything all on hold since last year then since march solicitors debt collectors and tsb constant letters same month after month ignored all letters and replies i have sent to them every month in reply to their letters and went to ombudsman cos was fed up of it. ombudsman then got fobbed off by tsb for over 2 months til they finally received info they wanted, wouldnt suprise me if tsb 'altered' records, ombudsman say i got very good case against them so heres hoping just awaitin an adjudicator but feels like forever

Did LloydsTSB send out an income and expenditure form to you to fill in? Did you complete one?
I am interested in their response that they have given. Have you asked the FOS to ask LloydsTSB how they assessed your claim?
