    Only because Thatcher privatised them in the first place. There is no public ethic anymore, just profit profit profit. I'd personally like to see re-nationalisation for the whole bally lot of them - with no compensation.

    Nice sentiment...most pension funds in the country invest in utilities because they are "safer" than other investments. renationalise them and pension funds lose a fortune and there is no way the govt would make up the shortfall and you would have more people worse off in their old age.

    All depends if you want to have a quarterly meter or not i guess.

    Like thay said, they refund it after 12months, or a supplier change.
