Package to New Zealand

I wonder if anyone can help. We have a daughter and family in New Zealand, near Auckland and want to get some furniture covers to her. Have tried parcel companies but it will cost at least £75. There are two covers, each 4.5kg, so any offers to take one or both over for us? Obviously we will deliver and collect from convenient points and our daughter will be pleased to offer you help in NZ should you need it.
Or what is the cheapest way to send a 9kg package to NZ?

Well surface mail parcel from a Post Office it's £85 odd - just over £100 air mail, so the rate you have got looks reasonable.
Trouble is for someone taking them for you is the security angle - and it's a fair chunk out of their baggage allowance
If you can break it into 5 packets each of a maximum 2kg then each one will cost £11.09, surface mail small packet. (There's also a size restriction, so won't work if they are very bulky)0
