Im not definate, maybe someone could confirm but I think Littlewoods offers commission back on purchases where Littlewoods Direct does not.
Maybe upping the prices on Littlewoods balances out the commision you claim back from them???

i think its the same as people that cant afford to pay for their electric and have a meter pay more than those that cant get accounts. ie littlewoods you pay all in one go or or weeks at a higher rate and littlewoods direct you can get a 3month interest free account.? i know what i mean, didnt come across right tho!0

As an ex Littlewoods employee I can tell you it is for 2 reasons
1) Littlewoods give direct cashback of 10% or 12.5% discount on goods(your choice) this has nothing to do with cashback sites this is on your statement.
2)Littlewoods offer interest free credit for 26/52 weeks and BNPL, LittlewoodsDirect only allow you to spread cost interest free for 13 weeks.AKA: PC

so they are giving you back what you pay extra for!
and the 52 weeks interest 'free' isnt! you have also paid extra for that!0 -
No free credit is ever really free. No-one can borrow for nothing and it's always built into the margins. Just another marketing ploy/trick.0

Well marshall ward, littlewoods direct and additions direct are cheaper, the main way of purchase being by card. You can get an account with them but that is with high interest. The rest, as in littlewoods, empire stores, great universal, choice and kays let you have up to 2 years interest free credit, 2 years only being on some certain items. The usual is 20 or 52 weeks, any higher would add high interest. The pricing on these stores when it comes to high price items is hugely increased. About +%25 on high value items.0

I have had a littlewoods account since 2005 and have not received any cash back !!!!!!!??????!!!!!!
There first excuse was i had to spend £200 before earnig cash back so i continued to shop...
A few years later and after filling out requests for cash back heard nothing.
I contacted them again and they said im not entitled due to my account being restarted ( i never ended it and left the account in credit in this time)
I then ordered a washing, sat nav, clothes and shoes etc and still no cashback. I spoke to numerous people at littlewoods and they saent me out another request for as they agreed i did not restart my account and guess what ??? yes i got another letter from Carol Bruce saying i was not entitled to cashback.....????
After a very long phone-call i was told i was restarted due to me having an old legacy account and they had no reolection of any orders prior to the 22/11/2007 how convinient.....
Since then they now say they stopped giving cashback on new accounts as from 1/7/2006..... is there any who is good at maths here ????? lol
Then they went on to say my account was last active on the 18th may 2007 and restarted on the 9th nov 2007.... is it me or is that not quite 6 months and when not active for 6 months the account is not active ( i left it in credit ???) how can they end an account when left in credit ????
Is there anyone out there who can give me legal advice please,
cheers all Nidge0 -
its because the cheaper charge postage and then charge interest if not paying in full.:starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod:0
