NEEDS A PC Running MS Excel (Part of microsoft office)
Hi there,
There is a free solution if you have microsoft Excell (Spreadsheet program). Download your free sudoku ".xls" file from computeractive.co.uk/sudoku. You need to enable macros to run it and voila free sudoku for life. It creates a random grid for 3 difficulty settings and has a number spread adjustment as well. Also you can simply print off the grid and check against the solution later.
Hope this helps
Jules

Yep, download Excel Viewer 2003. Not sure if it works with macros though - try it and see.
There are plenty of free Sudoku puzzles which you can play online, e.g. http://www.websudoku.com/.0 -
OpenOffice.org is a free alternative to Microsoft Office. It includes its own fully-featured spreadsheet program, so may be able to run macros.
Failing that, there are many flash Su Doku puzzles available online and a few Su Doku programs (some are free, others are commercial) as well.
