Overdraft advice

I have never exceeded my overdraft. I have been busy lately and been away and just checked my accounts today and noticed that im £100+ opver as the rents has been debited as of today. So, i transferred some money back from savings to current - i.e. it is not overdraft anymore. Both the transactions were done today (rent and me transferring money). Now, will i get charged, though my online does not show the overdraft.

Thanks a lot!

    Hiya

I think that you will be charged as most bank t's&c's stipulate money has to be in the account the previous working day. Some banks seem to be more sympathetic than others on this though no hard and fast rules. Why don't you give the bank a ring and explain - if you have an exemplary history they may be more sympathetic and waive the fees.

Depending on your bank. Natwest you have to have the money in before 3.30pm and ring them up and ask to speak to lending and tell them you've paid in the money etc and ask them to pay the DD, they normally will as long as you inform them.HTH
