Day after I purchased it from Morrisons, I went to Homebase (Canley, Coventry) and would you believe it, they had a slightly bigger chair for the same price! So for anyone who cant find it at Morrisons, try Homebase. Not sure if its available in all stores but might be worth a look for anyone wanting to get one.

Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

Just been on Homebase website and can't find anything like it for the same price, cheapest about £32.99 but much smaller, nearest looking one £44.99 (circa) - maybe they've all gone! :(

    Thanks anyway

Tried phoning my nearest Morrisons - Hastings - rotten telephone manner(!) but said they were getting delivery tonight - but didn't know if any chairs in it. They had the same offer last year but didn't managed to get one then either current old chair in much worse state now - in fact asked successful Del Boy friend just last weekend if he could find one - hope I get one. My other nearest Morrisons is Folkestone (16 miles) but go to Hastings regularly anyway. Fingers crossed
Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!
  • I called and asked my local one and they kept it to one side for me. When i got there the lady said there had been a call saying the screws were missing - and so they were selling their stock at £19.99. Thing was the lady also said the screws ARE with them - just screwed in to the seat rather than in a bag. Cheap AND got an extra £5 OFF! Nows a bargain :D

Oh btw - my local store is STROOD, Kent... so if there's anyone else wants one :)

Just got 2 of these, fantastic value, its the same as the ones at Viking Direct which sell for £35. Both parts of seat is leather and the sides are PVC. Its a national offer although the bigger the store the more they will have in stock, best to call first to check, I got mine from The Kirkstall Leeds store. Nice adjustable height for PC desk, and theres a rocker function as well. No pics on website but are same as Viking Direct ones

Morrisons have confirmed that this is a nationwide offer while stocks last so grab 'em while you can! To find your nearest store click here.

Have to say I do prefer the Viking ones. They do cost a bit more, but the nice chrome bases make the whole thing alot more strong and it looks better imo. A great price for this none the less!.
  • :j Phew, managed to pick up the last one at my local store, thought i'd missed out as they had shifted very quickly, but i called out of the blue and struck lucky. Very pleased, worth every penny. Wouldn't agree that its a particularly high back, although i can rest my shoulder blades comfortably and i'm 6ft 1". Only thing i can't figure is the rocker and what difference turning the knob underneath makes (?). I can rock and pulling the lever stops it rocking, but turning the black knob under the chair doesn't make any difference to the rocking motion. Maybe i'm just being dumb, but im not complaining for this price.

Went to my local store today, and they didn't have any in.
Asked CS, and they didn't know if any stock would be coming in. :(
I feel a trip again tomorrow coming on, good job it's only down the road. :D

If it's the same as the Viking one, you're supposed to adjust the knob according to your weight - It makes the chair rock backwards more or less easily depending on how heavy you are...
