keyring for car - i emailed the company of our car (as we got it 2nd hand and asked if they could send me a keyring..... i got 1 and it isnt a cheap plasticy 1 from the summer shows etc!)

IT's probably too expensive but I saw an ad for ablack and decker adjustable spanner last night. My DH got all excited about it - adjusts at the touch of a button. Not very romantic but damn useful!

do you have picnics ? or go walking, we find a SPORK to be a great item. lightweight, fun colours, really useful !! they are cheap too : )

I bought a few tools as stocking fillers for my wee bro. Got them from Amazon as I had a Qype voucher (woohoo). I am not an expert on tools but got a lot of things for £1 or £2 and they seem pretty good quality. Plus, many eligible for free delivery. I got a steel rule, spirit level, cutters etc.

A small wind-up torch might be useful - one of those types which never needs a battery, so he can keep it in the glove compartment of the car in case he breaks down?
