    Try reinstalling Flash Player:

I have Vista Premium too and I don't get that problem, have you downloaded all the Windows updates.? .... One thing though, I switched my theme to Vista Basic rather than the Glass/Aero theme and I don't get half the trouble I used to get. It also may be that you are trying to run a program that is not yet updated for Vista.
  • you can either use a different internet browser (asuming your using internet explorer)... try reinstalling flash player (as said above) or download an older version of flash player (as the new version might not be compatible with your video drivers)

You might also consider looking at your computer manufacturer's website to see if there are any display driver updates.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Uninstall flash using the removal tool

    Then reinstall the latest version

  • Hi everyone,
I have a very similar problem, and from what I can find it's reasonably common. I'm using IE7 & Vista Home Premium. My Flash Player appears to crash only on a few sites, most notably eBay. I've tried uninstalling Flash using the Adobe removal tool then re-installing, and using version 9 (which causes marginally fewer crashes). However this problem renders eBay (and some others) un-usable. The really frustrating thing is that I can use eBay perfectly well without having Flash installed, but this means that other sites (which never cause any problems) don't display properly. Is there any way to automatically disable Flash for the problem sites but not all sites? Or does anyone know of a solution?
I have downloaded Firefox, but I'd quite like to get IE working.
    Thanks

Upgrade to XP. No seriously, try using the Vista Basic theme as depending on the PC spec, Vista Home Premium may tax the system resources unduly.
  • could anyone advise how you change your windows vista home premium to the Basic theme please?
