I did run the registry cleaner 'scan for issues' but it didn't ask me to back anything up. Is this a problem? I don't want to worry that I might have messed something else up :-(

You can't say that to a born worrier lol

Seriously, what should I have backed up? Will it cause me problems? There was no prompt, honestly.

I cant recall the exact prompt
But when running the registry part of the cleaner (2nd one down), before actually removing said registries it (should) ask to back them up

Honestly though, dont worry about it

CCleaners the safest registry cleaner I know (In fact the ONLY one id recommend running in times of need)

No need to worry. I run ccleaner's registry cleanup without backing up all the time. Maybe a bit risky for "everyday" use, but the worst that is ever going to happen is that you lose some fancy proprietary settings (usually that you would have set up yourself manually, and if you haven't done anything like that, no need to worry,)

If anything were to go wrong, it would be easily fixable.

Your computer is working fine. Don't worry.
