New PC ?

I've currently got a fairly old PC with 40gb HD and 500mb ram (upgraded from 256) the PC keeps crashing so I want to get a new basic one. All I want is the main PC unit to use with my own screen keyboard etc. I think the minimum would be 80/160gb HD. 1/2 gb processor and fairly basic grapichs (Children not into gaming yet :) Does anyone have any ideas where I may get such a unit fairly cheaply. Thanks in advance.

How cheap is fairly cheap? You can pick up some decent base units from Ebuyer for £175-250.
  • Thanks. was looking at around the £250 mark !

  • You should be able to get a fairly decent spec for that money. Check out hotdealsuk.com and search for the Dell deals. There are frequently pretty well spec'd machines as base unit only. Also try the dell outlet (google it - cant remember the URL).

Anything you buy will be huge leap forward in terms of speed etc.
