Sadly I was going to direct a friend to this site for some help but 10past6 and stapley you've made my mind up to direct her elsewhere. Just because someone has a different point of view to you does not make them wrong or right, just different. Why is this board so full of he said/she said, he thinks/she thinks snipey comments.

OP- sorry I don't know the answer to your question but I wish you luck in repaying your debts.
Hi , sorry to seem a bit harsh on BH , BUT , at every opportunity BH has offered the opinion that it is wrong to request a true signed copy of a CCA . Yet , on one thread they stated that they had requested a CCA from Halifax , "JUST FOR A LAUGH " . I can assure you being hounded and threatened constantly by debt collection companies is not a laughing matter . People have lost their homes and their health through the tactics of these parasites . If by advising people to fight back LEGALALLY , it has helped one person to hold things together . Then I say good luck to them !

The help and advice on this board far out ways the comments of 2 individual posters, you really should pay more attention to the endless amount of helpful members.

There are numerous members I've assisted on this board, and will continue to do so, just take a look at my thanks.

I make no apologies to you or anyone else for my comments.

Says a lot for your so called friendship, if you're put of by 2 comments

I would point out I have been thanked 452 times .
I have not much time for BH . Just read on another thread , BH telling someone to tell a company to get lost and report them , because a debt is over six years old ! So in BH eyes its okay to dodge a debt of six years. Then when its till statue barred, tell then to whistle. However to checkout if a CCA is not correctly formulated and then stop paying if it is not correct means you are not a decent person . Unbelievable!

  • Hi Everyone,

having just looked at this thread I am quiet shocked that some people have chosen to be so judgemental..

I am for my own reasons deciding to carry on paying my creditiors even though their is no enforceable CCAs in exsistence..

I only posted here for advice! I certainly do not judge anyone who for what ever their reasons decides that if no CCA exsists to carry on paying their debts.. after all we are only answerable to ourselves..

Good. :) That is all one could reasonably expect.
