My mum gave me her DVD.co.uk voucher, which was a lovely gesture.

I also received a visit from some firemen who provided me with a smoke detector and free booklets for the kiddies.

Thoroughly sozzled after a most agreeable shopping evening on London's TCR (Tottenham Court Road!) .

Started off promisingly with free champers served by hula-skirted bikini-clad young ladies to the sounds of a steel band in Habitat, then moved on to Rioja and nibbles in Heals and finished off later with Japanese Asahi beer in Muji.

Had 2 relaxing hand massages in Heals - from the ladies at Molton Brown and I Coloniali - and received goodies from each too. Also collected a freebie bag containing a full-sized bottle of Rioja, a half-bottle of rosé Cava, Nougat London Bodywash, music CD (to grace your Heal's coffee table, it says :undecided ), craft-type bookmarks and various Burt's Bees mini products.

Best of all I got Aldo Zilli's new book personally signed. :D
