Ok inbetween postings I emptied the DW and the WM and they are both running 'cleaning' washes - took my medication before I turn into a rag doll and green monster!! - cleared all the clutter and empties from the bathroom - cleared the PC desk.

Loaded DW
Emptied WM and reloaded
Hung up washing
answered door to parcel man
checked parcels - whoo hooo 'in the night garden' playmat has arrived for my little niece...
Cleared all the worktops in the kitchen
washed and dried up the plastic containers by hand, coz they always tip up in DW and are full of dirty water when I go in there
'steamed' the microwave after last nights dinner to make it all soft then wiped it out
wiped UNDER the microwave coz it was dirtyyyyy
made myself a cuppa and came to catch up...

I did mine recently - to get rid of the mucky bits that seem to generate on the hems where it drips down. I've washed shower curtains before, but they always seemed to lose the water repellency after a while.
Tha care instructions on mine said 40 deg wash then "cool iron to restore water repellent qualities". I thought that was a bit odd, but it seems to have worked...I asked on here and someone suggested it might have been the (very cool) iron slightly *melting* the plastic coating to reactivate it. So far, so good, they are still repelling0 -

OK, on my HHC I...- Cleared the spare bed and clothes airer of clothes, folded and put away what didn't need ironing and made a nice pile in the kitchen of what did ready for my HHI...;)
- Fed the dogs and terrapin
- Made my bed
- went through DS's underwear and t-shirt draws and threw out all the stuff that doesn't fit/is ripped/just doesn't belong there and tided them up (all 3 of them)
- Cleared the bathroom floor of clothes, empty bottles, etc from DS's shower this morning...
- Put all towels, mats, shower curtain in the wash
Right, need to get back to paperwork now... borrrrrriiiiinnnnngggggg....

Hi Toots!! how are you? Anymore snow with you?I took today off because of the forecast and it took me 2.25 hours on Tues and 3.25 hours on Wed to get into work :eek: I couldnt bear another horror commute! And of course there is no more blooming snow....grrr
I managed to:
WM x 1
TD x 1
wash dishes (most of them)
strip, vacuum and make bed
tidy bedroom
sluice the bath
clean the bathroom sink
It doesnt look like much
Oh well...paperwork now
