help on a Citreon C4 picasso please

Hi there
I have a Citreon C4 picasso automatic and have lost or mislaid my logbook for all info and parts i havent had the car long and is just over 1 year old

I have a button next to my radio which i have never used which says "esp off" any ideas:beer: i have tried googleing it with all stupid results i have pressed it and driven without any noticable difference
Any clever people have any clues what it is;)

EDIT found it means Electronic Stability Program so i think i will just leave well alone then hey

It's the traction control.

It's on all the time, pressing it turns it off.

More fun in the snow with it off...

if you dont know what it is, i suggest you leave the traction on !
