unfortunatelly no luck - im getting worried that my touchpad has broke - but thats a bit weird as i turned my laptop as normal and there was no probs, and when turned it on next day it was not working how can it be?
  • Is the touch pad locked ? You can lock them on the Acers, forgot the combination now to unlock it
  • Hey I have this cute little laptop, apart from this issue, how have you found it?

  • One of the F keys along the top of the keyboard has a 'hand touching the touchpad' icon. Hold Fn (bottom left of the keyboard) and press that F key. It should function again.
  • I have an Acer 5920 and the same happened to me after I had been "tweaking" the start up programs to speed up boot time.

I had disabled the Synaptics Pointing Device and after I enabled it again the touchpad worked again as normal.
