Xmas Joy at RBS

Now that RBS are state owned, they might conduct business better and in a civilised way.
Two years ago, these cowboys, under the name of MINT charged me a late payment fee of £12. I owed them the huge amount of £3.19 !
I was 9 days late.
Yes it was my mistake. However the decent , business like thing would have been to write off the charge. This was the first time it had ever happened.
But no , being the greedy corporate monster called RBS ...no way.
I paid and never used the card again.
Last year I put over £10k via expenses on credit cards.
I can uderstand how they got to the position of being state owned now !
However it seems they might change their spots over night .....
Either way ...justice I say...and death to the corporate monster called RBS.

  • Take care that huge chip on your shoulder doesn't slip as it could hurt you.
It was your mistake by your own admission - move on.

You would have been charged by any card provider whoever owned it.

Or maybe, time to realise that you broke the terms & conditions and thus are at the mercy of the card company. Don't want to be at their mercy? Then pay the amount on time. Simple.
