Best Current Account?

I currently have Premier Direct with A and L, interest rate now 2% after 2 years with them....(1% minus base rate)

Have overdraft of £2400 current balance is £-1200 (just £5 per month) and pay in £1600 every four weeks.....where should I transfer too?

Or could I re-open a Premier Direct?

£5 a month is a pretty good deal for running a substantial overdraft. You might make a short-term gain by moving to Abbey - either £100 cashback but 12.9% interest on your overdraft or a no interest overdraft for a year. However, Abbey does not have a good reputation for service. I think A&L will only consider you for new customer deals if you've left them for at least 3 months.
