I am trying to load my workbooth cd. I works fine without the router. But with the router it tells me my IP Address cannot be found. Can anyone help me?

When I run the Workbooth CD without my router it passes. When I connect my router I get a message IP Address caannot be obtained

Workbooth CD I thought you mean workbook CD! Still no idea what you are doing as can be measured by the responses you have received.

Oh dear the OP is new and asking everywhere.... and as for you dutchy I have searched and pray tell me where is " already answered with directions to a fuller answer also elsewhere." I can't see it.

I am pursuing a job with [EMAIL="work@home"]Teletech work@home[/EMAIL]. I have to run a workbooth cd to see if I can connect with their server. I have no problem connecting without my wireless router. I am getting a message the my IP Address cannot be found when I hook up my router. By the way I am using a cable connection through a telephone line. Does that help?

WPA/WEP access code missing. Wireless turned off. Can you ping the server? DHCP on? Could be anything. Ring the help desk cannot be the first time caller with this error.

Cable is telewest cable, sky cable, cable is a cable service
A telephone line is not cable.
Nope not helping much. Must be tired.

I have high speed internet through Comcast Cablevision. The wired it through my telephone line. I assumed it was cable internet. The wireless router does what it is supposed to do. I can get a internet connection with it. I am having a problem running this workbooth cd.

it is simply the wireless routers firewall blocking the connection, get the manual for the router and contact teletech to find out which port needs opening.
Hope its not IT support you are doing lol
