Now I have always liked travelling on BA, the service is excellent, the food is adquate, the price was not too bad, but mainly because I could check-in & pick a seat using a computer instead of having to queue. But quite frankly BA are starting to take the p*ss, I thought it would be interesting to see what the price of a flight I take every month Edinburgh to London Gatwick would be. I usually book in advance, I chose Friday 9th March about 11am and return a few days later on Monday 13th.
BA where quoting £37 each way including tax coming to £62, £44 of which was taxes, charges and surcharges after having a look I could see £2.50 for extra security (hmm I would have though that was down to BAA but nevermind), fuel charge of £8 (well yes the price of fuel has gone up, but as a surcharge it looks awful) and the one that really annoys me is a £5 charge for booking on the internet!!! With all of this that only still comes to £15.50 what has happened to the other £29? Also what really takes the biscuit is that they are now charging an additional £2 for using a credit card.
Had a look on EasyJet the return flight was a total of £39 including £10 of charges!
Now I don't mind paying extra for good service, but recently my flights have been delayed, the food is getting worse it used to be a hot meal it seems now that its just down to sandwiches! Baring in mind that almost every flight I have been on in the last year with BA has almost been empty (except my last one which was a week before xmas and therefore understandably was full) you would think that they would adjust their pricing to compensate.

Aside from the "sandwiches" issues which I think is to be expected (though not condoned) considering the recent hassles, have you fed the information in your post above to BA themselves to see what they say about it?"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
