I have just noticed from my Nectar page, I have the following offer if I take the Nectar Amex credit card : 5,000 bonus points when you spend £200 on your Card within 3 months of your Card membership. Apply at nectar.com/P24.
I have two thoughts:
1) Do you think I can go via a cashback site (Cashbackkings or Quidco) and still get the Nectar points bonus?
2) Do other people get a different offer? I noticed the website link quoted to me has "P24" and I wonder if a different number after the P means a different "X bonus points when you spend £Y on your Card" offer?

You get the 5000 points anyway
However applying via nectar's website nets you an extra 2000 points (worth around £10)
So quidco is a better deal, offering £35.
You have to spend £200 on the card
Note there are double points for the first 3 months0 -
I've just received a postal offer of an American Express Nectar card, with the same 5,000 Nectar bonus points, plus double points for the first 3 months etc. I also use Quidco and checked to see. It does mention the Nectar card onthe Amex link, however at the bottom of the list here it says,
£35for each successful application (British Airways card and British Airways Premium)£45for each successful application (BlueSky)£50for each successful application (Platinum Charge)£34for each successful application (Platinum credit card)
but doesn't actually make a specific reference to the Nectar card, although it does higher up the page. So does anyone know for sure if you get the £35 for an application.
If you applied via Quidco, would you still be able to put in your Unique RSVP code, which is ont he bottom of the form I received?
I've tried to find out on the Nectar site, just how much the points are worth when you use them but am a bit confused. I can see that if you spend £1 with your Nectar credit card and your Nectar points card, you get 4 points, but when you go to convert it as money off your groceries, how does it equate?0 -
500 points gets you £2.50 off your Sainsbury shopping. there are probably other options with different values0

Anyone know if you can specifically get £35 cashback for the Amex Nectar card through Quidco?0

You are right, it has disappeared from the Quidco list. They sometimes come back depending on which card AMEX is spending the most on promoting.0
