Recently booked with Airparks and have now found out that they want to keep the keys. This concerns me as I have heard that a watchdog report highlighted some operators will drive your car off site whilst you are away to free up space for more cars.
Any experiences gratefully welcomed.

Having used Air Parks a number of times, IMHO you have nothing to worry about. At the Park I use I simply pull up at the office, they take my keys from me, I jump on the bus to the airport, they go park my car somewhere secure, then before I return they go collect it and have it sitting outside the office when I return.

The operators who are most likely to misuse your car are independent valet parking outfits who have no official connection at any park.
Driving offsite (to somewhere secure) is no big deal. Valet parking your car where they haven't actually anywhere to leave it is.0 -
Is it at Heathrow? If it is youd be hard pressed to find any company that doesnt take your keys.0

Thanks all for the replies.
Gatwick is where the car will be parked.
I can't find on their T&C that they can move the car off site, but have heard this goes on.
I guess I am uncomfortable letting a stranger drive my car and proving any damaged done during stay would be difficult.

If it's gone up somthing stupid like say 10 miles do the same again and then have it out with the car park owners.0 -
I use Airparks regularly near Luton Airport, and have never had a problem, At Luton, your car will be parked on their site in a secure area, floodlit and with CCTV cameras. When you return the car will have been brought back closer to the office. I have found the service to work very well, my only complaint is insufficient leg room in the bus seats !0
