I recieved my bank statement today and have been charged for retuned direct debits 2 months running and was confused as i have made sure i had enough money to cover them.
The amount was and has been for around a year £14.50 for a reduced gym membership as had a referral from the doctors. This was all fine but it turns out the gym has been trying to take the full rate of £29 for at least the last 2 months maybe more im not sure though as i cannot find my statements to check.
I called the gym and they said that the reduced rate was only for the first 3 months then it goes up.But im sure it has been the reduced rate for over a year.I was never told it would increase when i signed the contract.
Does anyone know where i stand on gettin a refund from the gym.I dont think it says anywhere in the contract about the increase.

You probably need to read the small print on your contract before going in all guns blazing - make sure what you 'think' is the case, actually is.0
