Hi
Does anyone know where on the web i can get free pre-recorded greeting messages (mp3, wmv etc) for my answerphone? I'm not really after funny or comic messages, just simple, professional sound recordings as i cannot stand my own voice....uuuurgggggghhhh
Cheers

If you have yahoo messenger installed you could search for vm_greeting
or
download an answer machine programe for your pc you may find something you can use buried in that
otherwise listen to this:

Unplug your answer phone and use BT answer phone, just need to dial 1571 to retrieve messages0

I would recommend this if you don't want your own voice on the answer phone. Go for the call minder instead of the standard 1571 though - call minder has more options and is more user friendly, whereas the basic 1571 only allows you to listen to messages and isn't very interactive.iomexico wrote:Unplug your answer phone and use BT answer phone, just need to dial 1571 to retrieve messages
BTW, if you get a message on this, your dial tone when you lift the reciever isn't constant - it'll be on for 2 seconds then break for a second then on for two seconds etc.
