free cabin bed

Would anybody like an immaculate cabin bed free of charge? It is no longer needed .It was originally bought from MFI.There is a mattress to go with it but this is optional of course.Or can anybody suggest what I can do with it? It seems such a shame to take it over the rubbish tip.

i assume you live in cardiff as your psuedonym is cardiffjk. salvation army in cardiff- various freecycle organisations (just type freecycle in search engine)- put it in advertiser (free of charge)- various shelters in cardiff for homeless e.g. wallich clifford home, tresillian house (look on cardiff county council website)- tescos have various boards on which you can put a postcard and say it's free but person collects-ask big issue in cardiff whether they know anyone who wants it. i agree it would be a shame to waste it. hope you find someone (preferably someone in need) who wants it.

Thanks for the advice.Arranged for local charity to take it yesterday, but when they saw the mattress was used they werent interested! Of course the mattress was used my son has been sleeping on it. A long time ago I offered furniture to salvation army but they again werent interested. Its such a waste for it to end up on the local tip.
