NatWest Monthly Management Fee

Hi all

Not a problem, I just want to have a rant!

I got a letter in the summer from NW offering me the chance to pay £10 per month so that if I had a DD/SO etc bounced the charge would be halved. I didn't take them up on their generous offer but I wasn't totally surprised because up to November 2007 I had paid quite a hefty amount in charges. Thanks to MSE and the peeps on DFW and here I haven't paid a single charge in the last 12 months and I feel really really chuffed.

Today I had another letter that said basically I hadn't taken them up on their offer and I could still do this as they had noticed that I had incurred a lot of charges recently.

Grrrrr!

Where do they get that info from? Are they a bit peed that they haven't made any money out of me and so they want to sell me this (IMO) waste of money service???

Anyway - sorry folks but just wanted to vent my anger.

Has anyone else been offered this service?

So you've not paid any charges since Nov 07 and you still got the letter? weird.

Its almost certainly a generic mailshot. Put it in the bin and forget about it.
