Seat Ibiza fuel filler flap

Hi there. My Seat Ibiza's fuel filler flap broke off yesterday in the local Morrisons car wash! Dont ask me how - I am sure it was closed properly but it must have caught the edge of the brushes or something. Do any of our moneysaving experts know of a company that does generic ie non factory parts? My local authorized dealer wants to charge £120 for a new one. Granted it does need to be fitted as well but £120 seems a bit steep. It is only a piece of plastic afterall. All advice gratefully received.

Sorry you got no reply,
Sounds rediculous,
Ask a motor factors, then phone a few scrapyards you'll get one for a 50p - 10 quid depending on how knowledgeable the scrappy man is about their worth. Some of them will fit things for an extra few quid too.0 -
contact your local breakers yard or try https://www.findapart.co.uk, then you/friend fit it for you, normally only a few screws hold them on.0

Scrap yard, if it's the wrong colour pay a paint shop £10 or whatever they want to have it sprayed the correct colour.
Otherwise you can buy new from a panel supplier - look in Yellow pages under motor body panel suppliers.Happy chappy0 -
Thanks for the replies guys. Will try and get it cheaper. Dont know how main dealerships can justify these prices....0

If wrong colour, something as insignificant as this, I'd buy some spray paint either from the dealer or halfords and paint it myself. a paint shop would not be able to do this at a good price because they'd have to buy a quarter can of paint just for this small job.
You can do a decent job with a spray can, just keep the sray can 10 - 12 inches away from it and don't put too much on at once. let it dry for 10 mins regularly before putting more on.0
