Has anyone got one of these? I tried to open one this morning (3 months @ 6.25%) - but as I'm not a customer, I need to open a variable rate web saver first, which I've done. However, though I now have account numbers and sort codes for the variable rate, I need to put money in that account, in order to then open a fixed…

Do you trust one institute with that kind of money?I was thinking of adding another 50k
at this lower rate compared to one i took out earlier, but I am really cautious after being with Icesave.
Is there many more of us with more than the FSCS guaranteed amount with one institute ? and with who?
