thinking of getting my mum one for christmas. thoughts on them please! She's not got internet but has freeview 'on the big telly' and I wondered if this is the best way for her to get access to a wider range of radio stations without having to have the tv on all the time. she's mostly a spoken word radio person.

Is it possible to record on them or is it pause and rewind live stuff only?0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0

Best brand is Pure, if you don't want to spend too much I'd suggest the Pure One.
If you want top of the range that will record onto SD card, and pause etc the Evoke 3 is very good.
