I really want to open a flexaccount at nationwide, just applied online and it said sorry we can't offer you an account at this time, this message appeared as soon as i finished filling in the form so i don't think they even had time to do a credit check. I have other accounts elsewhere and everything is in order, payments are never late and i've never gone overdrawn, why don't they want me? i had a quick look on their website at the terms and conditions but nothing stands out. How long do i wait before i try again?

they are very very picky with their criteria.
get a basic account and then upgrade after a while.0 -
One of the great things about Nationwide is that they have branches all over the place. Get yourself down to one and sort it out.0

They can't be that picky. I opened an account and was given a £1200 overdraft facility even though I wasn't working at the time and I told them so! I told them that I was on a career break, and whilst I was still employed as a civil servant, because I wasn't earning and wasn't going to for at least another 2 years, they still opened the account with no problems. I also got a credit card!!0

Nationwide had issues with their online and automated telephone services on Friday evening. They fixed some of their services due to the complaints they received but obviously not all of them.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0
