I wonder how long the rate will be available for.
Long enough to get the funds from Norwich & Peterborough to my Nationwide flex account?
N & P's rate has dropped to 3.3% and I have the maximum guaranteed amount in there.:rolleyes:0 -

I'm glad I didn't start tranferring my funds now. I did think the bond might be pulled before I could fund it.0 -
Gosh that was quick! I went into their Bromley Branch on Monday for a form, returned to there yesterday and received a passbook in the post this morning. Glad I acted quickly and didn't wait for the form that I had requested on saturday to be received by post.
On both occasions I visited the branch it was full of people asking for forms and opening accounts.0 -
I have been considering opening this account since I received my Icesave cash back but have hesitated as being a long standing customer of Chelsea I am already well over the safe savings limit with them, now the decision has been taken from me so I will have to look elsewhere.
Personally I feel that the Chelsea is sound and even if they got into trouble I am sure the government would help, I even filled out the form yesterday and went to the branch but changed my mind thinking what if the Government decided to stick to the £50k limit? Basically I chickened out so will have to go elsewhere for a lesser rate now!0 -
Damn, I missed this one. Saw it in the branch today, I did not know it was going to close today!0

It came out on Saturday !! I was told it would not be around for many days at the branch
Good rate for those who were are able to tie up for a year
It had a monthly interest option which was useful0 -
Oh bother, was toying with the idea of this one as already had money in Chelsea.
Drove past a branch yesterday but didn't really have time to stop as was on route elsewhere. I must cure my procrastination !!0
