Cheapest Car Insurance ever? -£82

The Maths - Normal insurance 909, with double the difference from Nationwide from their quote of 1859. They payed me £82 for the priviledge of insuring me. Total saving £991 in one hit.

This is a good start, as it is my first go. Starting on the insurance, mortgage and phone bills next. Looking forward to great returns on the effort.

Where is the double the difference offer?

I'm looking at their site now and it just says find it cheaper anywhere else and we will refund the difference.

I think I'm missing something here. What insurance company? This thread seems to start on page 2 if you see what I mean!

After a quick google search I have come up with this website.

Seems the offer was only for people who purchased policies up until 31 October 2005. Which is a shame as they quote at £2,200 and my best quote was £1,300 so double the difference of £900 would meant i would of paid £400, damn shame!
