Changes to a Travelodge deal booking

Once the booking is made can I add an early check in add on?

We have just booked travel and get there early so it would be nice to drop off bags, although not essential if I can't.

I think if it comes under 'extras' you can - I just logged into my travelodge account but can't find an option for altering it online, so you may need to call the hotel directly (check www.saynoto0870.com for an alternative to their 0871 numbers) to arrange it.
  • Any changes cost five pounds, I found out that I made a booking for one person instead of two and tried to change within minutes of the original by link on the confirmation and had the charge added straight away. Gutted

You can do it online - I've just done it, Im going to London next month and we need to check in early.

Just go to the Travelodge website, and on the front page it gives you an option to modify your booking. Click on it, and enter your confirmation number and surname where it says 'Booking details' click on the red button that says 'view/modify booking' and it should bring up your booking, and at the top there should be another red button that says 'modify booking' click on that and it gives you a list of options....
Early check in is one... hope that helps.

Are you sure that works if you have booked a saver rate? It wouldnt let me add breakfast even though the option is shown.

Why would you want to change from one to two persons if they are in the same room as the cost is per room?
  • As when I turn up at reception they always check to see how many people are booked in. On the confirmation it said that I had booked one room for I person and additional guests weren't allowed so I didn't want to be charged extra when I turn up with my daughter in tow.

It doesn't appear this is possible with a Saver room booking, just can't find any options under "Modify Booking". Trust OP has it all sorted now.

I can see its not an option for us. No problem, we can go for lunch and then check in.

    I dont get that.
I have booked for one and had 2 people in the room and i cannot see anywhere on my confirmation or in their t and c where it states that a room booked for 1 is not allowed additional guests.

I have never been asked at reception how many people will be in the room

    Interesting.

Isn't it that they won't make up the other bed/sofa? Mind, we generally have to ask for extra linen anyway;)

I've done the same, when the site was jammed up in the last sale it somehow went back to the default of one person. Was thinking of just ringing the hotel. :D

Back to the op - I've just asked at reception on checking in if we can pay and have the room early. No problem so far....
