Icesave Fixed Rate

Options
Both my wife & I have fixed rate savings with Icesave that end next week on the 4th & 5th December respectivly. I've received my 2nd e-mail today. The FCS say that if I leave the money in til the end of the term I will get the full interest. Should I wait to reclaim my money after expiry of the fixed rate ie next week or should I put in my claim now and loose the 2 months interest?

Well just my 2c worth, but I'd look at it this way, if you claim it now you should have the money in 3-5 days, and will have lost 8 weeks interest, if you let it run, they estimate it will take about 6 weeks to process the paperwork for you claim, in that time you will also be losig the interest you could be earning if you had quick access and got it into another fixed account, assuming of course you want to do that.
If you were thinking of doing that it is worth knowing that the BOE meet next week to set interest rates on Thursday, and again on Jan 08th. I wonder what rate deals will look like after that.
Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!
