A&L Premier Account with Plus Saver (Getting the heck out as soon as they remove the unauthorised searches off my credit file - as ordered by FOS!!!)
Abbey Basic Account (Im going to use this instead - trading in a Visa Debit - read Electron in disguise - for a cash point card! And I dont have to - Im just that sick of A&L!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

But I have been a total bank tart.... this is the total accounts I have had in my life - quite a list!

NatWest Card Plus - opened by my bro-in-law when I was 13 (he was Natwest manager at time) closed by NatWest Collections about 10 years later after Orange made a horrendous foul-up. But mum paid it off for me, bless her :D
Barclays 16-18 account - my first debit card for my grant cheque to be paid into when I was at college! Electron was still very much in it's infancy then - I was always going overdrawn! Account closed when I was about 19 as dormant.
HSBC Student Account - First proper debit card (Switch) £500 overdraft and cheque book. Account changed to different branch when I discovered the loophole in how to up my overdraft! Switch card taken off me when overdraft hit 1100, now only about 400 owing on it - account frozen in 2001, paying through Lowell now.
Abbey current account - CCJ'd at about 1000 in early 2001.
Lloyds TSB current account - Initial overdraft 1500, account frozen owing 4500 in middle 2002  Now in permanent dispute since Jan with 1st Credit, collection activity on hold.
Nationwide CashBuilder - not a bad account but closed in 2002 when they said I had to go to my own branch to withdraw money when my purse was stolen and under no circumstances could I get money from any other branch. My account was in Newcastle - I lived in Liverpool at the time!!!!!!!
Barclays Cash Card - quite possibly the worst customer service ever. They used to look down their noses at people who had this account - closed in 2003.
Abbey Basic - only opened as I was staff at the time and I got paid a day early with it. :j This one lasted till 2005 - and closed because they said that it would take 2 weeks to clear my bursary cheque  Ridiculous. But I reopened it when I went on benefits briefly a couple of years ago.
RBS Instant Access Savings Account - Never used. Closed as dormant earlier on in the year - never used it as they wouldnt give me anything better.
NatWest Step - All I have to say here is 27 separate complaints
Oh yeah, and I've had a Halifax credit card as well! So I've been with virtually every bank on the high street - talk about being an account tart!!!!!!

Good luck getting a debit card!!
    I have 3 banks

    2 with Hfax
    1 with RBS
    1 with Nationwide

One I use for direct debits only, one I use to pay my credit cards only and the other I use for withdrawing cash. I split my salary between the accounts accordingly on payday :)

I use Asda Credit Card, current account and online saver at LloydsTSB, other savings in B'Midshires, ISAs in Barclays and then I have my Nationwide Flexaccount and Post Office Credit Card for travelling. I hadn't realised how tarty I'd become until I started reading this post! My next task is to find an electron card for internet bookings. I think this has all come about trying to be as MSE as possible. Blame Martin for all the tarts out there!
