Just before I pop to shop, I'd like to say how cr*p my English and spelling is, I'm sorry. I've only ever read 2 books in my life "Harry's Game" and last year's Viz annual. It's a disgrace! I feel better now for admitting my inadequency.

If you've only two books in your life, I'd say your English was pretty good. Although that there Viz is a right good book for speeling and stuff. Much betterer than the rubbish I read.....:D

Hiho silver surfers! I'm looking out on a scene of snow-encrusted roof tops and distant twinkling lights, having watched a very red sun go down half an hour ago when I first started catching up on this thread!!

Not too bad thanks, its very cold here but thankfully dry at moment, think I'll join you in a drink though.....the sun is deffo over the yard arm!:D

Bit more news from BT: I can limp along with this dodgy line over the weekend, then they'll sort me out properly on Monday. Maybe. And in the meantime I've bought more carrots to feed the poor donkey that drives the treadmill generator (thanks Adey for the suggestion)
