ST, thanks for your concern re. Euros. I wasn't actually buying them yet, just thinking of booking a place near Rome for the summer, but the prices were in Euros (hence my concern!). Have down an about-turn and opted for a week in Devon/Cornwall borders (a lovely, quiet place just on the sea - near to good walking territory, sandy beaches, surfing, etc. and they take pets). May try and get a late summer flight somewhere.
also nice just the weather to rely on0 -
now do not think I am scrooge --but as I use battery remote mouse -i used to use rechargeable batteries but not very good at all and costing time and money to charge up so back to good old Duracell.
They now last twice as long since I started disconnecting 1 battery from its terminal when I close down -as the mouse is still active when not in use try it and save some pennies
Been there, done that! Actually, I think cordless mice are rather pointless.0 -
Funny story:
My hubby was in M & S in London the other day. At the checkout the man at the till said to him: "You're Lord Mandelson, aren't you?" To which hubby huffily replied that he was not! He does bear a passing resemblance to PM but is far more handsome (and younger, and not gay!).
your poor husband :rotfl: know your feelings regards gay -can you imagine Mandelson topless :eek:0 -

Looks every one of her 481 years, poor lady. She lives in the National Gallery, close to where my lovely Titian young man used to live, until he recently moved out....:(
