    Well it's not got above -1C in these parts today. Went for a walk to buy eggs and veg on the market and nearly froze! The fog is starting now . . . I may be reaching for a glass of red wine later, purely medicinal warmth of course.

    yes azureblue, it was so cold walking back from station that I could feel my lips stinging - haven't felt THAT cold for a very long time in UK !
