    Nice and chilled out here. All house guests and daughter gone back to London. Was out in the garden earlier but driven back in by the frost. Man, it is cold.

    Went ice skating at Somerset House yesterday morning, then lunch with daughter's boyfriend's parents. All very convivial except parents going through a divorce, so a few hairy moments (a bit reminiscent of those plays they used to have on BBC1 in the 70s).

    Yes they can be....I'm usually lucky cos I have a guy who gives it a quick in-and-out ...but it's getting a bit old now.
