I think this is quite interesting she sounds like a nice lady who wrote it do our lady members agree in this day and age or not??
Ode to nice men...
I love nice men. I think that they are more valuable then gold. I'm married to a nice man now but I still appreciate all of the other nice men out there in the world. I have no time for "bad boys" and it breaks my heart that my society has made such a big deal out of jerks and losers while hissing and spitting at nice men and their gentlemanly ways.
I treasure my Nice Man husband. I see him as a gift from God and deffinately not someone to take for granted. I am not lying when I say I almost daily thank God for my sweet, good, NICE Erlend. And although I'm not *in* love with any other man, I love and appreciate Nice Men just as much! You are gems!!
When a man holds a door open for me or offers me his seat, I am heavily flattered. Sometimes I even look behind me to see if there's some other, prettier lady that he's offering to. When I realize that yes, he's offering to me, I can't help but blush and say, "Thank you so much." And then... I walk through that open door or I sit in that empty seat and I revel in being treated like a lady.
I believe in chivalry. I believe that without male chivalry towards ladies, civilization is in serious trouble. Feminists can take their stupid "don't take away my independence" crap and stuff it up their snobby noses!
I can't get enough of being called "Love" or "Sweetheart" or "Sugar" by total strangers. I know that the Feminists think this is "sexual harassment" but I don't buy into that nonsense! I actually glow when a nice man addresses me with such kind terms. To me he is saying, "I see you as a lady worth my attention." How can a man flatter a woman more??
I enjoy having a man admire my hair or my clothes. I'm not talking about flirting or lusting. There's totally a difference between a man being a perv and a man indulgnig in innocent admiration for something that he finds lovely. And what is wrong with a man finding a woman lovely?? Since I do not consider myself God's gift to men and I often cringe when I look in the mirror, let me tell you something guys: You make my day when you look at me as something to be admired. Heck, you make my MONTH! You can just imagine how I feel on a daily basis when my "Good Guy" husband tells me I'm beautiful and sexy... yeah, Nice Men RULE!0 -
