If its similar to the Dell 3000 and 2400 ( which I would suspect it is ) then it wont have the metal "caddy" inside the case to mount a floppy drive, so if you realy want a floppy drive you would either have to use an external one, try and mackal up some sort of caddy or pay dell a silly amount for one.
Nope.... Still cant think of owt interesting to put here.

Why is upgrading a problem and could a floppy disc be added?

Why add a floppy disc when you can use memory sticks in USB ports.

My prediction - wait half a year and you will start to see some really really cheap offers on PCs as the manufacturers start to shift old stock before the launch of the new Windows Vista installed PCs. So if you can wait, wait.
  • You can't tell me that pc's are gonna get any cheaper than this i mean a pc with a 17 inch flat screen for under £300 delivered? You can't be serious!

For those who want one without a monitor I suggest going for this one which is only £234 (I ordered one this afternoon):

Celeron 3.06Ghz, 512MB RAM, 80GB, 48xDVD/CDRW, Intel Media Accelerator 900 Graphics, Keyboard and Mouse, Windows XP Professional Edition, 1 Year Collect and Return Warranty.

the E-value code is 1-D01311 I found it on *** Edited by Board Guide - redirect referral links not permitted ***

But if you go through the wizmark links they get the introduction fee and you won't get the Quidco 6.5% discount. Use Quidco and put the evalue code in on the Dell site yourself.
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • Yes I used quidco, the e-value code is still 1-D01311 right?I wonder whether the "1" at the start means that wizmark referred them because I tried putting in 2 and the same offer came up.

Can you tell me what code I have to enter on the Dell website to get the original £292 offer inc delivery? I've currently got it at over £300...

    Thanks....
