£15 leather gloves for £1 Dorothy Perkins - code glitch

Just emailed them as even though the code showed up for me on the order it never came through in the confirmation, I had a generic email back and part of this stated:

Other Promotions
If you have been given a promotion that has not worked, we will refund you the discount you are entitled to as soon as we can.
Dorothy Perkins Customer Service

Does this mean that I will be entitled to the £15 value of the promotional item refunded? Now that would be a bargain! lol

Sorry to be thick but is this correct:

1. add gloves to basket
2. add breast cancer pin
3. add in codes

Does this mean that if the gloves are out of stock, that merely entering the codes will not result in receiving them if you can't add them to your basket?

Ok, so does anyone have this offer in an email from DP?

The sorce came from HDUK but didn't mention all the codes so I adapted it.

The original thread was;
"Free leather gloves worth £15 from Dorothy Perkins - ltd stock - pay only delivery or completely free on orders over £40"

I would imagine this was an email to registered users.
If we can find the T&C we can see if you need to add them to basket or if the people who just added the code to pin badge will get them.

I dont think my way actually works, It does let you add the code and underneath it says your free pair of gloves, but once you go to checkout and through the whole process there is no mention of the gloves, my confirmation email was this...

I did it again when the gloves were in stock but trying the links in the same browser but this time it was different and I had both the pin and the gloves in my bag but with the gloves saying £0. I carried on with the order and got a second confirmation email (this is a seperate order)

When I tried for the 3rd time to test it, I added the gloves pin etc but this time when I went to add the code it said only 1 gift per customer, So I presume my first order will not come with the gloves its obviously some glitch in the process but for some reason the first time around it took the gloves off.

I presume the text that says "Your free gloves" means you can have some free gloves, now add them to the basket. Maybe check to see if they come in stock again and try then.
