£140 for a Corsa service!!

Called up Nationwide Autocentre for a basic annual service for a 2002 Corsa 1.0L and they quoted me £140! Thought that was a bit steep - even Vauxhall themselves can do cheaper.

Can anybody recommend a cheaper but reliable 3rd party service?

Thanks in advance

I have to say that I tend to still get our 1999 Corsa serviced at the Main dealer. although I do tend to call around a numbe rof them as the price varies tremendously.. Our local dealer charges £195 for the major service, while another charges £120. The ones who are MAsterfit garages tend to be at the cheaper end of the scale.. I think the last service (minor) was £80.

Annual service is all stuff you can do yourself. Oil, filter, air filter etc. The next cheapest option after that is to find a decent independant garage.

  • Found that Nationwide Auto charge a small fortune for repairs as well, so got it done elsewhere at less than half price !

Carrying out your own service would be more money saving ;)
